Valves such as shut-off valves and fire hydrants may experience damage, bending of the valve stem, or damage to the threads due to excessive torque during opening and closing. The torque limiter prevents excessive torque from being applied to the target valve during operation by slipping (freewheeling) when the set torque is exceeded, thereby neutralizing the excessive torque that would burden the valve. During freewheeling, this device turns with a clicking action, making it easy to determine when torque has been applied. Features: - The body is made of stainless steel (SCS13), providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability, allowing for safe use over an extended period. - It can withstand approximately 10,000 freewheeling (slipping) operations as a guideline for usage. Custom support/design simplification! By simply changing the torque of the TL, it can be used with various models.

We would like to introduce a case study of installing a commercial thermal printer to solve the problem of the thermal printer's ink ribbon sagging. The issue is that while using a TL to maintain tension to prevent ink ribbon sagging, additional sag occurs due to the pressure applied during printing. The solution was to integrate a torque limiter and a spring-back mechanism into a unit, achieving space-saving and design simplification, and preventing the misassembly of R/L by color-coding the shield (cover). 【Case Overview】 ■ Issue - While using a TL to maintain tension to prevent ink ribbon sagging, additional sag occurs due to the pressure applied during printing. - It is necessary to prepare a separate mechanism to eliminate the additional sag. ■ Effect - Although the tension maintenance varies by model, it is possible to use various models simply by changing the torque of the TL. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where the torque limiter "OTLV6-400B" was installed to reduce costs in the label printer mechanism and decrease the number of motors. In designing a low-cost type label printer, we were consulted about finding a mechanical mechanism that would not incur high costs.
